Where have the past 12 weeks gone? I cannot believe that Fresh (a day of performances by Youth Companies at the Place) is over and the last week of classes for the Youth Group is completed for 2011. There is however no rest for the wicked as ReFresh rehearsals commence with a three day intensive this Friday. I am really looking forward to seeing what choreographer Sarah Blanc is going to create with the group. She has shared a few of her ideas with me and they sound fantastic, so watch this space!
Then into 2012! The Olympics and Big Dance come to town and the Youth Dance Company will be taking part in all manner of projects, workshops and performances, so now is the time to get involved and help make it a most fab year for the Candoco Youth Dance Company – I almost wish I was under 25 again!
