Joe is a partner and managing director of Morton Bates Arts Services, alongside fellow arts manager Claire Morton. Having previously built successful careers in the arts sector, they established Morton Bates Arts Services and combined their breadth of knowledge and skills so as to appropriately facilitate artistic development and provide tailor-made support, bespoke to meet client’s individual needs. Their clients range from solo and independent artists to large-scale, international touring companies across all performing art forms.

Joe originally trained as a dancer at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, gaining a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts (Dance), and went onto train and study at London Contemporary Dance School. As well as working as a professional dancer across a range of projects and companies, Joe also worked as a production/stage manager and in 2007, he completed a Masters Degree in Arts Management, specialising in dance education and training, at City University, London.
