Candoco announce 25th Anniversary Open Week

10 – 19th February

We are opening our doors to celebrate 25 years of Candoco with a week of participatory events! You can get involved with every aspect of the company to see how we work, from rehearsals and class with company dancers, to half-term and family workshops. You can watch both the main company in action at Brighton Dome’s grand Concert Hall and Cando2 youth company at The Place in London. We are very excited to announce that Candoco’s co-founder Celeste Dandeker-Arnold will join Siobhan Davies for a conversation at Siobhan Davies Studio reflecting on their respective and shared histories in contemporary dance and choreography and how these fields have changed over time in the UK, which will be open to the public. We are also opening the office doors of our HQ in Islington to provide an insight into the administration of a dance company. Visitors can hear what opportunities there are behind the scenes as well as ask advice around issues such as marketing, tour booking and finance.

Full listings for all Open Week events can be found here.
