Elinor trained at Trinity Laban, graduating in 2003 before completing her training and MA studies with EDge in 2004. She joined Candoco Dance Company in 2005 where she worked as the Foundation Course Administrative & Access Officer, Rehearsal Director for Cando2 Youth Dance Company and as ADAPT Project Coordinator.

Elinor was delighted to join Candoco as a full time dancer in 2008, performing work by Rafael Bonachela, as well as performing with Candoco in the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games. Whilst dancing for Candoco Elinor created work with choreographers including Nigel Charnock, Hofesh Shechter, Emanuel Gat, Wendy Houstoun, Sarah Michelson, Marc Brew, Claire Cunningham, Rachid Ouramdane and The Trisha Brown Dance Company.

In addition, she has worked with Morton Bates Arts Services, as a ballet tutor at Coventry University and has led dance education projects for English National Opera and London Youth Dance. Elinor is currently working for Hofesh Shechter Company, as well as continuing work as a freelance dance artist. When not working or dancing, she is kept busy and happy being mum to her 2-year old son Owen.
