Kitty Fedorec is a performer and creator, with a strong interest in the relationship between dance, place and the mind; working with a-typical people; and facilitating the development for young disabled and non-disabled dancers.
Following studying at Laban she co-founded the DRA dance collective, and in this capacity made work for Proud Galleries, Latitude and Glastonbury festivals, and the Alternative Miss World, working with contemporary musicians Bishi and Robots in Disguise. Most recently Kitty has engaged in a number of projects with other creators, including work with photographer David Quentin, performance maker Luke Pell and with artist Mary Hurrell.
Since 2011 she has been working as associate artist with Candoco as a dance support specialist for their youth dance company, facilitating the creative development of young people and supporting their learning of technique. Kitty also teaches a class for Chisenhale Dance Space, exploring dance and creative movement approaches with children on the autistic spectrum.
