Our wide ranging national and international projects are easily programmed alongside the company's performances.

Projects allow participants to get an insight into the company’s professional work and choreographic process. They range from site specific performances with intergenerational casts to professional development for practicing artists. We deliver our projects through wide-ranging partnerships with organisations all over the world.

Day of Dance 2023

Get your dancing gear ready - our annual celebration of inclusive dance festival is back with an exciting new line-up, full of free outdoor performances and workshops.

Burst! 2023

Our exciting week-long music and dance project Burst! returns this year and it's bigger, bolder, and more fun than ever!

3 x 3 Dance Project

Funded by British Council's International Collaboration Grants, 3 x 3 is a creation project between partners Candoco Dance Company (UK), Arada Association (Turkey), and Unbeaten Path (Ukraine).

NYDC + Candoco Summer Residency

Following the success of the 2021 Summer School, National Youth Dance Company (NYDC) and Candoco Dance Company are once again working in partnership to bring you a week-long dance residency in August 2022.

Digital Artist Development Programme

Candoco Dance Company (UK) in partnership with Unbeaten Path (Ukraine) and Arada Association (Turkey) are embarking on a new International Digital Artist Development Programme in 2021 supported by the British Council’s Digital Collaboration Fund.

The Argonauts

In collaboration with Lost Dog and with the support of the British Council,  The Argonauts is the culmination of a six year programme.

Candoco + ASOS Training Intensive

The Training Intensive was a free two-week residential, dance training course for 18-30 year old disabled and non-disabled dancers supported by ASOS. 

Hong Kong Project

Two phases run by Candoco Dance Company in partnership with the Hong Kong Arts Festival, part of the No Limits Programme.

Co Motion

Working with choreographer Luke Brown and Magpie Dance, Cando2 performed at Trinity Laban in June 2019 bringing a piece that pushed and challenged the dancers. 

East Wall

Taking place in the grounds of one of London’s most iconic buildings, East Wall was the culmination of a four year talent development programme led by Hofesh Shechter Company and East London Dance, working with young choreographers, dancers and community groups.

Mentoring in Ukraine

Artist Victoria Malin and Candoco Rehearsal Director Susanna Recchia oversaw a mentoring process with a choreographer and participants invited by British Council Ukraine.

Orchestra For All

In April 2018, Cando2 dancers collaborated with the National Orchestra For All to perform at the Octagon, Sheffield.
