    Hi condoco . . .
I thought that the performance you did at the landmark ilfracombe was amazing. It was really unique and was very inspiratonal, a pleasure to watch with a little supprise in the middle overall a very good show. It also inspired me to pursure a career in dance and aim for higher things. All the dancers were absolutley amazing, you could just see how much time ane effort was put in.I was thourougly engaged throughout and would love to watch it again. Well done :) xx

When I came to watch the performance it really inspired me to achieve my career within dance. The reason I say this is because I heard that the performance was based on disabilities, I had not read much about the performance piece its self before the performance we just had a brief introduction from our tutor’s on what the piece was about. The reason it inspired me is because I am undergoing tests and councelling sessions at the moment for Huntingtons Disease and I thought that if it came out possitive that would end my career. However, after experiencing your performance my dreams of becoming a dancer will not change despite a possitive result.

And I do appologise because my spelling is not perfect :)

Hi JD, sorry we have not replied sooner- thanks for your comments. Mirjam’s solo is also one of my favourite elements of Rachid’s piece. Good luck with your studies!

    Hi Candoco
I saw your performance at the Riley Theatre, and i must say it was a very unique program
you´ve put together. It was very different i the variation of speed, dynamic and also performance wise. I was very impressed when i watched the last piece. Then you could really see the dancers movements and travelling. It was like watching a game of following and competiting each other, just like kids or friends would do. I liked it!

Absolutely stunning performance! The skill of all of the dancers, both individually and as a group, really shone through. The choreography was interesting, well thought out and diverse, keeping audience members engaged throughout. This piece was truly inspiring. Thankyou.

I thought the performance at Riley theatre, Leeds was so different. It was nice to see three very different performances with dancers that are so talented! My favourite was the third piece from trisha browns original choreography as it looked so complex and technical. Can’t wait to see candoco again :)

One word, Wow! I thouroughly enjoyed Candoco’s Turning 20 Performance last night. It was utterly amazing. I thought all the dancers were all exceptional and I enjoyed Mirjam Gurtner’s solo at the beginning and Set and Reset/Reset was really inspiring. The performance encouraged me to work really hard to get the most out of dance in my life.

    Great performance!

I am currently taking my Dance BTEC in Year 11 and I was thrilled to find out that we were going on a trip to see the company’s Turning 20 Tour @ The Hawth, Crawley!! I am extremely excited about coming to see the performance and I am interested about the different dancers and how they have overcome some difficult problems to do something amazing!
    Good luck for the performance

A fantastically weird and wonderful triple bill. Hangman was a bold choice which you either love or hate perfectly off set by the immediately accessible In Translation. A great piece that you can just sit back and enjoy. Round all that off with Imperfect Storm, an incredibly charming and funny piece of work, perfectly pitched for content and time, sad to see it all go away. :o)

I just wanted to say that the two days of workshop have been absolutely fantastic, and the performance today were brilliant! Both I and the rest of my class have gotten so much inspiration and you’ve been so incredibly friendly. Since the first meeting we’ve wanted to hug you, and it feels like we’ve known you for a long time. You bring so much happiness and joy, and it’s impossible not to smile when we see you.

We wish you much luck on your next performances and your next projects. We will always remember you

    Thank you so much!

    Best regards, Solveig

Hi, I went to see the performance of Renditions-A Triple-Bill at the Curve in Leicester on 2nd June it was absolutely brilliant!!

  14. Mandy Browne

I thoroughly enjoyed your group’s performance at Leicester Curve. Uplifting and inspiring, rippled with humour and edgey- great.

  15. It was the first time i saw Candoco at the Brewhouse on the 26th, and i was blow away. I’ve been talking to anyone who will listen about the show, the stamina, the choegraphy and how the whole piece made me feel. I must take a moment to espeically say how much i loved the piece by Emmanuel Gat. It truly moved me and filled me with fire to get myself dancing again. I’ve put off dancing for a while due to back problems, but its always been a passion of mine. I have now been totally inspired to get back into and keep going, whatever it takes.
Thank you again for an amazing show and performance. I look forward to seeing your next creation!

Re visit to Brewhouse on the 26th May. First time I had seen the troupe perform and thought the energy and passion put into the whole production was brilliant. Very well done to everyone you deserve it.

What an amazing evening.I have always been a fan of Nigel Charnock and the piece he did with you did not disappoint. When are you coming to Colchester again? Please make it soon.

  23. Georgie Oates

I saw your performance last night and it was absolutely fantastic! I loved the first half and i thought it was brilliant. The choreography was amazing and it was a very inspirational piece :)

  24. Saw your show at the Hawth last week with my 16-year-old daughter (whose shoulder the ponytailed dancer cried on…) – what a ride! We loved last year’s performance, but this one was even better. Favourite bits include the highly creepy stuff with masks in the first half, and the knicker dance in the second.

  25. Nat

Caught last nights show at the QEH – amazing! Great to see the works performed in London.

I loved the ending of Still – going from everyone anonymous, clad in black and energetic at the beginning to being stripped down to their basic being, highlighted against the white sheets and resting. It was a lovely contrast.

It also had me considering my own attitudes to disability – that perhaps when we expect every disability to be very visually obvious to us immediately, we’re still being quite blinkered and need to learn more.

Thank you for staying for the Q and A session too. I think a lot of of us were inspired by hearing how many of you guys got into dance. I know friends of mine will be looking at the training opportunities available through Candoco.

Just coming across ure website has been really cool. Watchin the videos and seein the gallery has a real eye opener. It seem that CandoCo has really made an impact on peoples life’s. The quality of work is also breath takin and i will be definitly be talking about what ive seen to my peers. Great job, love the ambition.x

  27. Lorna Green

The Cambridge show was superb! Still was so anarchic with an excellent soundtrack that the dancers fitted perfectly to. The Perfect Human played out beautifully with the dancers reminding me of primal beings evolving.

Both works really explored what the body can do and I hope to see more of Candoco and these choreographers in the future!

  28. Peter

I saw the performances at Eastleigh and thought they were inspired! One dark and exploring, the other funny and wild. The tall blonde lady’s solo piece was beautiful and so was the singing.

  29. Sophia Neofytou

I saw the premier of your new rep after taking a workshop with you. I created a dance about 2 years ago, which was about a disability called MS, and i used a wheelchair, it was aazing to see something i took suvch an interest in on stage. You guys were truely insperational and breath taking.

Well done on a ground breaking performance.

  30. Tijana

    Great Beautiful Amazing…
Your show made me reconsider my attitudes…
people with disabilities or…let me say people with possibilities…
You were great, guys! We were trully honored to have you in Belgrade!
    Love and kisses
